“Leatherheads”, one of George Clooney’s most recent projects, has been set for a April wide release.
The movie has been due to open on the 7th of December, but Universal has decided to extend the production to April, because of George Clooney’s busy schedule. The romantic comedy, which directed and co-written by the famous actor, will hit the big screens only in Spring this way.
George Clooney, who will also star in the movie he directs, will play in “Leatherheads” the owner of a professional team who will fall in love with the fiancée of one of his players.
“Due to (Clooney’s) publicity schedule on Warner Bros.’ (Friday release) ‘Michael Clayton,’ his concurrent shooting schedule on Focus Features’ ‘Burn After Reading’ and his recent motorcycle injury, we have moved the release date of ‘Leatherheads’.” – has said a spokesperson from Universal.
