“No Smoking…!” will be a new Bollywood movie coming from the popular Indian director Anurag Kashyap, who directed also the widely acclaimed movie “Black Friday”, which has been about the 1993 Mumbai serial bomb blasts that amazed the entire world at the time. The new movie will, obviously, try to deliver to everybody the message of quitting cigarettes smoking.
“No Smoking…!” will tell the story of a narcissist businessman that stubbornly refuses to give up his smoking cigarettes, but ends up quitting this noxious addiction after a dramatic turn of events that even lands him up in rehab.
“Nobody likes someone getting preachy about their addiction and does not definitely want to see a serious social message through cinema, the medium which is purely meant for entertaining the audience. […] I have subtly dropped the message that people should quit smoking but not under pressure. My film shows one can only leave a habit when that person has decided to quit. Nobody can force anybody out of addiction.” – has said the Indian director for Reuters.
The new movie has been also announced by its director to be released on the 26th of October this year.
