Seth Green Joins the Cast of “Old Dogs”
The actor Seth Green has accepted the invitation to join the cast of “Old Dogs”, a comedy featuring John Travolta and Robin Williams.
The Walt Disney Co.’s comedy focuses around two business partners and best friends who will have to take care of a pair of 7-year-old twins. Their lives will be turned upside down by this event.
Seth Green will play an executive with the global marketing firm run by Robin Williams and John Travolta’s characters. He will be eager to move to Tokyo and to show off his Harvard MBA and Japanese cultural skills, as the company is closing a big deal with a Japanese conglomerate.
Seth Green has played before in movies where John Travolta has starred too, such as “Be Cool” and “Austin Powers in Goldmember”, but the two actors haven’t shared any scenes.
Green was best known for playing Scott Evil in the “Austin Powers” movies, but then he has become famous for co-executive producing, co-directing and co-writing “Robot Chicken”, a stop-motion animation parody sketch series that Seth and Matthew Senreich created for Cartoon Network’s Adult Swim. The third season of “Robot Chicken” is to debut on the 12th of August. Green has also directed George Lucas’ “Robot Chicken: Star Wars” special.
“Old Dogs” was written by David Weissman and David Diamond, while Walt Becker (“Wild Hogs”) is the director.
