“Ocean’s Thirteen” at Cannes

Actors Brad Pitt, Matt Damon, George Clooney and not only brought to the Cannes Film Festival their latest movie, “Ocean’s Thirteen”, hoping for it to be the winner of the Palme d’Or.
“Ocean’s Thirteen” is the follow-up movie to two previous “Ocean’s” movies, about a group of con artists headed by Danny Ocean, played by George Clooney, and Rusty Ryan, played by Brad Pitt, who swindle money from the bad guys. The movie is to be released in theatres in June.
One says that bringing such film as “Ocean’s Thirteen” at the Cannes Film Festival may be risky as the French Riviera resort’s reviewers tend to throw their support behind Asian, European and U.S. art house films. The famous actors, however, defended their movie as a form of pure entertainment that deserved its plans at Cannes.
