David Hasselhoff Having Alcohol Problems

A videotape that is showing the “Baywatch” star David Hasselhoff inebriated has recently appeared online. It seems that one of his daughters filmed it, at his father’s very own request.
David Hasselhoff has been carrying his battle with alcoholism for some time now. In 2002, he even spent some weeks at the Betty Ford clinic. And since then he is still recovering.
The actor said that his daughters made the tape at his own request, and that he asked them to tape him when he is drunk so that he could see himself. Hasselhoff said that he learned a lot from this tape, and also that he’s feeling better now.
In the video the actor appears lying on the floor and clumsily eating a hamburger and slurring his words. At some moment one of his daughters is asking him why he gets drunk. His father says he does this because he is “lonely”. Indeed, Hasselhoff has been going through hard times, as he divorced from his wife to whom he had been married for 16 years. Pamela Bach, 43-year-old, and David Hasselhoff, 54-year-old, both cited irreconcilable differences and separated, although they have two teenage daughters together.
The tape was however reported to have been made several months ago, in a hotel room in Las Vegas, as the actor has been appearing in “The Producers”, the Las Vegas production of Mel Brooks’. “The Producers” has enjoyed a huge success, since it opened on Broadway in 2001. But it seems that being a part of the show hasn’t made David Hasselhoff less lonely.
