Queen Elizabeth II at the 133rd Kentucky Derby in Louisville
The Secret Service said that Queen Elizabeth II might participate at the 133rd Kentucky Derby from Louisville. Paul Johnson, the special agent who is in charge of the agency’s Louisville field office, was not able to confirm details, but it is known that the Queen will be in Louisville at that time. So it could be somehow logical for her make a trip Churchill Downs on the 5th of May.
Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, are to visit the United States in early May for marking the 400th anniversary of the settlement of Jamestown, Va. Although the Queen has visited Kentucky before, she has never attended a Run for the Roses.
